Supplies: Scrabble tile, decorative paper or picture, scissors, X-Acto knife or razor blade, Diamond Glaze or some kind of paper glaze, Mod Podge, Aanraku bail or a bail of your choice (though I highly recommend Aanraku), and a strong adhesive (like SuperGlue)
Instructions:
Cut out the image you would like to place on the Scrabble tile. Brush some Mod Podge on the Scrabble tile (NOT the side with the letter) and stick the image on the tile. Let it dry (approx 20 mins). Using an X-Acto knife (or razor blade), trim any unwanted paper off the edges of the tile. Apply glaze onto the image and allow to dry (just to be safe, I would give it at least a few hours to dry, 24 hours preferably). Once its dry, place a dab of glue on the Scrabble tile (the side WITH the letter) as close to the top/center as possible. Glue bail onto tile and allow to dry.
Voila, you have a new, super-cool pendant!
Variation: Drill a hole in the center/top of tile (after image has been glued/glazed). Place a jump ring (and possibly a bead or charm) into the hole. No bail is needed.
Other tips: I have only been able to find Aanraku bails online. Search Google for online retailers.
